Although tho little vessel will .have her •own steam, tlio Anchor Line's steamer Reguhis will tow lier to Wellington. Tho Anchor Line's steamer Kennedy is due at Wellington from Motucka on Tuesday next with 4COO eases of apples for transhipment to the Ruapehu for South America. Tho Uuion Company reports that coalloading operations have been entirely suspended at Newcastle owing to the heavy floods that have devastated the low-lying areas throughout the colliery districts, and shipping is being seriously delayed in consequence. Tho Shaw-Siavill steamer Kia, Ora is duo in port from Lyttelton to-day to continue loading for Home. Tho F. and S. Lino's chartered steamer R.imutaka arrived at Wellington, from Liverpool, via way ports, yesterday afternoon. On part completion of disehargo here, the Rimutaka leaves for Lyttelton and Dunedin. Messrs. Richardson and Co., of Napier, have purchased the fleet of the Mohaka Steamship Company, whose vessels traded bctweeu Napier and Wairoa. Tho additions to tho Richardson Lino will bo as follow :—Tangaroa, steamer, 190 tons gross, 110 tons net, twin-screw, 70 h.p.; Tuhara, auxiliary schooner; and Tu Ala, steamer, 42 tons gross, 28 tons net, 54 h.p. The Tuhara is a schooner of the samo stamp as tho Fairburn. Tho Richardson Lino recently purchased the 6.0. Squall from, the Union Company. The local agents for tho Shaw, Sarin, and Albion Company advise that the steamer Knrnonea, which arrived at Auckland from Liverpool on. Wednesday evening, is due hero on Wednesday, May 28. JI.M.S. New Zealand was scheduled to leave Lyttelton for Akaroa at 6 a.m. today. The Union Company's Komata will coal the battle-cruieer at Akaroa. Tho coolie ship Ganges, Captain Brown, from Madras, is expected at Suva on or about May 27. Sho brings 750 tons of 1 cargo for that port and 827 coolie labourers. '
