ADDITIONAL TURF NOTES.
o Armagh is Buffering from a badly rickod shoulder. That is tlio reason whv ho has been scratched tor all engagements at the Wauganui meeting. Con tho Shanghraun is an unlikely starter in the Connolly Handicap to-day. Matters are very quiet onthe training tracks at Opaki, and Sir Knox, who is being cot ready for the Raulmwa Cup, is tho only lior.sc in v,-ork there. At tho meeting of tho Marion Jockey Club, held on Tuesday eveniup, it was decided that, in tho event of the club racing on New Year's Day, the weights should bo issued by Mr. J. JT. Pollock, and Mr. A. Wood would act as starter. Should the mooting be held on any other dates, tho club's usual officials (Messrs. Morse and O'Connor) would act.
