WEDNESDAY COMPETITION. Oriental were badly beaten by Tramway at Athletic Park yesterday afternoon. Early in. the first spell Anderson scored a fine 'try for Tramway, after a difficult run down the side-line. Before half-time, Algar scored a pretty try under tho posts, after a feinting run. Algar converted. Tramway, 8; Oriental, 0. Shortly after the second half of the game ivas entered upon, Perry scored for Oriental after n forward rush. Tramway, 8; Oriental. 3. There was no further score until a few minutes before time, when Moriarty got over for Tramway, and in tho nest couple of minutes M'Leod and Dumblcton each scored a 'try. None of these were converted. Final: Tramway, 17; Oriental, 3.
