final wanganui work. (By Telegraph— Press Association.) Wanganui, May 20. Heavy rain fell last night, but the tracks were in good order this morning, when it was fine for the winding-up gallops. Aruak'e and Phosphorus ran a mile in lmin. 17 l-Ssec., Phosphorus being a length in front; neither was extended. Deniss Onus and Blue Garment finished together, three lengths ahead of Fort William, over five furlongs in lmin. 4 l-ssee. Byron and Passadena went six furlongs in luiin. '.'Osec. Bercola and Bismarck jumped the big country twice, shaping well. The Native and Dorando beat Hawick badly over two rounds on the flat, going fast. Stepney covered five furlongs in lmin. Gsec. Makara did a similar task. Antarctic was a bit lamo after going two ronndf at half-pace. Multiply beat Otahu easily over seven furlongs in lmin. 35sec. Nyland and Watchchain were schooled over the hurdles, and both ran off. Sweet Breeze finished seven furlongs well ahead of Loekwood. Okaihau and Armagh jumped tho big fences; the former jumped well, but Armagh fell and hurt his shoulder badly.
