llossru. Williams and Kettle, Ltd.. report holding their fortnightly salo at the Danlievirke yards on Friday, when they offered a fair yarding of sheep and cattle to a rather dull market. Bs. 6d.; f. ond f.» wrlliers. 14s. 3d.: fifteen to eighteenmonths steer?. £3; mixed-sex vrcaners, £i: store cow«. £4 15;.: fat cows, £5 2«. 6d. ; porUeTs. 17*. 6d. The same firm report holding their fortnightly sale at, Wooflville yesterday, when there was a full yarding of sheep and cattle. They report clearing the catalogue of sheep, but storo cattle mot with a sluggish market. Quotations are:—Mixed-sex lambs, 4s. to 65.; twotootli ewes in lamb. Bs. 6d.; two-tooth wethers, 10s.. 12e., and 15s. 2d.: fat cow.?, up to £7 2s. 6d.: storo cows, £2 55.: springing cows, £7 17s. 6d.
