A FARMER'S MISFORTUNE.
SERIOrS LOSS OF STOCK. . A settler at Ohaupo had an unfortunate experience of special interest s farliisrs who u>e a spray as a means of coping with the blackberry (says a Press Association telegram from Hamilton). It ap-pears-the farmer sprayed a paddock and kept the stock off for some weeks. Shortly after putting them back on the pasture thirty-fivs cattle, mostly heifers, sickened. ■V veterinary surgeon was called in, and remedial steps taken, but eleven valuable animals died.
