LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
NEW CLUB FORMED. A meeting was to have been held last night to form another League club in Wellington. l>ut through some misunderstandins about the place of meeting the ■attendance was not as large as had been expected. However, those present handed in the names of sixteen who were willing to piny in new club, and a meeting is to ho held at the Don Rooms on Tlntrsdav night to further, the matter. it is stated that one of those who handed in names for the new club \is a prominent officer in one of.tlio Rugby clubs.
