[Specially Written for The Dominion,] < TUESDAY. Haricot Soup. Pickled Pork. Potatoes. Parsnips. Baked Apple Dumplings, , BAKED APPLE DUMPLINGS. Half-dozen apples, a little butter, sugar, a few cloves, ilb. short crust. Peel the apples .thinly, cora them nearly all the way through, and fill up the hole with sugar, butter, and cloves. Make the short crust, not too dry, and allow for shaping; cut into six equal psintsj work each round, roll out a little, then mould round the apples; glaze them with a little white of egg or water and sugar; bake from 30 to 10 minutes, decreasing heat; try with a skewer to-see if Cone. Servo sprinkled with castor sugar. Defiance Butter. All Grocers.'
