The demand.was not at all Keen for cattle, but all sheep sold readily under tho hammer. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Shannon sale, held on Friday, as follows :-We offered a Rood yarding of both sheep and cattle to a fair atfccndaßco of buyers. Bidding on the sheep was very brisk, and, before, the daywas out, a total cle&ranco was- effected. A nico line of-200 fat and forward two, four, and sis-tooth wethers, offered on account of Mr. W. Harris, realised 17s. 6d. Cattlo were ?omo\vhat easier, but a ffood demand existed for 'anything in forward condition-.
