(Dy Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Feilding, May .13. Tho death has occurred at Marlon of Mr. Kowlaud Fletcher Niccolls, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. S. Niccolls, ofFeilding. Whilst engaged playing football at Marlon on Saturday last, 110 sustained a kick on tho back of tho nead. The injury developed during tho '.vtck, and culminated in a fit at three o'clock ti is morning, with fatal results. Mr. W. G. Pearce, of Colyton, has received tho return showing tho prices fetched for his wool, sold nt auction at the London market. 111 baling i.is wool, Mr. Pearce put in everything off the board, l/cllies, pieces, and mats, «nd sold his wool unskirtod. For tho lambs' wool 110 received tho extremely high price of Is. 1-kl. per lb.; ewes' Ueeces brought Is. Old.,"and hoggets ?s. OJd. Threa bales if damaged wool realised ls. per lb. Tho Uaugitikei Club has appointed Mr. E. Mulvanah, of Feilding, 'as custodian, vies Mr. J. Peters, resigned. Applications for tho position wero received frim all parts of flic Dominion, anil totalhd 143. Mr. Mulvanah has been'a resident of Feiliiing for some time, and was in the forefront of the United Labour l'nrty movement, occupying thc positim of secretary to the local branch. Pre.-ious to arriving in the Dominion from England two years n.?o, Mr. Mulvanah was scr.rctarv to tho Birmingham Tramways Ui.um. Mr". Peters was presented with a purse of sovereigns by the club.
