RIFLE SHOOTING.

THE KARORI RIFLE CLUB. On Saturday afternoon the Karori Club completed its scries of class-firing prac!f° s 'u J ' llc COl >ditions of the practice, which ara those laid down under tho regulations for musketry course, are as under: —(a) 100 yards—Grouping test, 5 shots, scoring as follows: 5 shots in 4-inch ring, -5 points; 5 shots in 8-inch ring, 20 points; 5 shots in 12-inch ring, 15 points, 4 shots in 12-inch ring, 10 points, (b) 200 yards— bnap-shcoting, 5 shots; target exposed for five seconds for each shot, (c) 20(i yardsrapid; one minutfc allowed in which to load magazine and fire 8 (d) 500 yards—Application, 5 shots; 20 seconds' exposure for each. Some good shootim* was done by Rifleman A. Guise and Geo". Tinneyj the former (now quite a veteran rillo shot) put up the splendid scorc- of 3!) out of 40 in the rapid-firing test at 200 yards.
