HUTT MOTOR HURDLES.

Tho much talked of "motor hurdles" on the Hutt Road, Petnne, wero made use of by a motbn-picturo show on Sunday. A large number of motor-bicycles and cars turned out and took tho "hurdles" at full speed whilst tho camera was trained on them. Nccllws to say a large crowd assembled to witness the proceedings. The bicycles seemed to bo the most successful as far as a picture goes, as many of the riders, in taking the "hurdles" at a great speed, nearly left their machines. One over-zealous party in a motor-bicyclo and side-ear had a "spill," but luckily no damage was done. Tho humourous clement was not lost, sight of, and altogether the operator is of the opinion that his pictures will bo good ones.
