(.[Specially Written ior Tub Dominion.] MONDAY. Vegetable Soup Without Stock. Haricot Mutton, Potatoes. Boiled Onions, Apple Charlotte. APPLE CHARLOTTE. Half dozen apples, rind A lemon, i pint walcr, i tablespoons sugar, 2oz, butter, thin slices of stale bread. Peel apples, quarter and core them; niako a syrup by boiling tlio water and sugar together, and add to it tile apples and lemon rind; simmer till soft. Grease a pic-dish or cake-tin, melt the butter, dip tho slices of bread in it, and line the dish; pour in tho apples, and cover with more slices of bread dipped in the butter; and bake in a moderate oven till Iho bread is browned. Turn 011 to a dish, and sprinkle castor sugar and cinnamon over it. FOE TO-MOP.ROW. Half peck haricot beans (soaked overnight). Piece of pickled pork. Pastry. Apples. Defiance Butter. All Grocers."
