Woo He, stationer, and Mr. E. C. Tumor, butcher, being destroyed, while the shop occupied by Lee, greengrocer, was badly damaged. The shops destroyed were owned by Mi. Tumor, while that occupied by the Chinaman was owned by Mr. A. Herbert. Had it not been for- the high pressure water supplv, which has just been installed, it is considered that half tho business portion ef the town must have gone. Tho buildings destroyed, and their contents, were insured,' but' for what amount is not ascertainable to-day. !
