HIDE AND SKIN SALES.

Messrs. Levin and Co. report as follows:-— Wo hold our fortnightly Bale yesterday, when we offorcd 1500 sheepskins, 3CO hides and calfskins, and a quantity of tallow and horsehair. Wool Bold on a par with last wool sales, Fitoe and medium cross* bred, 9id. to 10} d.; coarse crossbred, 8&d. to 93d.; inferior and dingy crossbred, 7id. to BJd.; picces, to 6jd.; locks, 4d. to 5d.; lambs, 7id. to 10d.; crutchings, Rood, Bd.; crutchings, second, 6id. Skins arc linn, and show an advance of a farthing on short wools. Jlalfbreds and fine crossbrcds, Bid. to 9d.; medium and coarse crossbreds, BJd. tp 83d.; quarter and half-wools, 6d. to Bd.; dead skins, 5Jd. to 7id.; lamb skins. 6d. to Bid.; dry pelts, 4£d. to 6id.; green skins, 4s. 6d. to 65.; green lambs. 3s. 6d. to ss. Tallow is firm. Parcels in shipping order, £28 55.; tins, £20 to £25 55.: rough fat, £19. Horsehair, Is. to Is. Bd. psr lb. Horns, ss. to 17s. 3d. por hundred. Tails, Is. Bd. ner dozen. Hides: Heavies and mediums were easier by 3d., and lights by id., others unchanged.
