Alfred Holt and Co. Nothing lias been more remarkable of recent, years (says tho Sydney "Teletrraph") than the number of lino new passemcr and careo liners built for tho trade with the Commonwealth, and it is claimed for the Nestor that she is the largest of them all. It is. however, given to no vessel in these days to hold that enviable position very long, and the Nestor is apparently destined to bo surpassed In point o! sizo by the new White Star steamer Ceramic, which is of no less than 18, CM tons. No merchnnt vessel of anything like these dimensions ha-s yet been seen in tho Australian trade. Messrs. Murray, Koborts are the local agents for the above line.
