CERCLE FRANCAIS.

Tho lecture of tho Rov, Pero Barra, S.M., given last evening at tho French Club, attracted a largo attendance of members, and was presided over by Mon. Dullou. Tlio'subject of tho evenings lecturo was entitled "Deux ans au pied des monts," in which tho speaker, after describing graphically his departure from Bretagne and his journey to Switzerland, related to the great enjoyment of tho audience his experiences during a sojourn at tho foot of tho Alps and an ascent of tho celebrated Mont Blnnc. During tho evening Duflou gavo an amusing reading, and Miss ITeginbotham played a pianoforte solo. A hearty voto of thanks was accorded tho lecturer.
