WAKATFRE TO HF, LAID TTT. Owing to the accident to the Company's paddls stsamer Wakatere s boiler,i proving more serious than was at first, anticipated, tho company has dcculed to lay the vessel Hp. The repairs will occupy several months, and as a ouantitv of new material will have to be brought from Home, the vessel was towed to an anchorage in the stream yesterday, where she will remain until the material arrives. The Aupouri, which ha,3 been relieving the Wakatere in the Auckland-Thames trade since the accident, will be dockeil 011 Thursday for cleaning and painting. The Daphne will take up tho Aupouris running in the meantime.
