THE CONSPIRACY CHARGES. MRS. DHUMMOND'S BAIL EXTENDED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright London, May 13. - At the hearing of the conspiracy ease in which seven women (including Mrs. Drummond) and a man named Clayton, a consulting analyst, arc charged with conspiring with Mrs. Pankhurst and others to damage property, a doctor stated that an operation on Mrs. Drummond was necessary. He added that at his request an address that was to be given at tho nursing homo where Mrs. Drummond is was withheld, because the public was boycotting the home. Mrs. Drummond's period of bail was extended by two months. Mrs. Strunga gave evidence that after tho destruction of her Kew and other tea-rooms she appealed to Miss ICerr, one of the accused, to discontinue the outrages, but the latter refused to promise to do so. A medal maker gave evidence as to supplying the Women's Social and Political Union with medals and brooches inscribed "For valour," "Fed by force," "Hunger strike." Some of the medals cost a pound each.
