WOMEN WORKERS.
The Women's Employment Branch reports in the Labour Journal that during the past month in Wellington ISS applications havo been received from employers ior domestic assistance, and from wouldbe empjoyces during the same period flli applications, have been received. In Auckland during the month there have been 21S applications received and dealt, with. Of these, 179 were from employees and 69 from women desiring employment. Out of these numbers CC engagements have been made. Eleven immigrants were placed, and seemed n line type of women. In CJiristchurch 121 applications were reeeivecl. from employers and 40 from employees. Dunedin reports 81 applications from employers requiring assistants, and i~ havo been received from assistants seeking work.
