AXNUAL REPORT. The second annual report of St. Albau's Church, Eastbourne,, states that the year just closed has been a very satisfactory one from a parish paint of view. In addition to tho diocesan assessment of JSOO, the vestry has undertaken, the liability for vicarago rent—viz., JCsS—to which tho diocesan trustees make a grant of only .C2O. Tho vestry found that it could not for tho present enter into financial liabilities for the erection of a vicarage, though such should receive consideration in tho near fnturc. At the samo time, the necessity for a schoolroom must not be overlooked. The vestry arc confident that ill duo timo these requirements will be attainable. During tho year Mr. T. 13alliuger_ was elected to the vestry, and Mr. TV'. P. Shortt resigned. A good tivo-nianual-pedal organ has been installed, and adds much to tho musical parts of the services. A brass altar cross and a i 'handsome silk altar frontal (now being made) have also been provided by freewill offerings. The Sunday School is proving a most satisfactory part of the church's work, and the superintendent and teachers are deserving of,tho hearty thanks of parents. The members of tho Ladies' Guild, members of the choir, and all others'who have helped during tho year also deserve thanks. The vestry has pleasure in pointing to the fact that the whole of the year's expenditure has been mnt by the Sunday collections and freewill offerings. Tho vicar (Row Ernest I.
