SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for cold and damp weather, squally conditions, with heavy showers in most parts of the country. Southerly winds, strong to gale, will probably prevail. The barometer ie unsteady, hut is due to rise everywhere shortly. The barometer has been very unsteady, •and the weather unsettled and stormy .in various parts of the country. A disturbance exists to the southward of tho Dominion, and another to the westward in the front of all Australian anticyclone. 1). C. BATES. Meteorological Office, Wellington, May 13, 1913. DISTRICT REPORTS. (From Oar Special Correspondents.) Otaki, May 13.—Rain foil yesterday and this morning. Sunshine, but windy this afternoon. - Greytown, May 13.—Weather fine, but very cold. Feilding, May 13.— Fine, warm day; cold night. Shannon, May 13.—Fino nnd warm. Hastings, May 13.—Sharp frost, followed by a. lino morning, with rain in the evening. Featheraton, May 13.—Fine nnd mild, but dull. Musterton, May 13—Frost last night. Weather improved, though dull, to-day. Wanganm, May 13.—Tho weather has been very .changeable; freezing at midnight; then blowing half n gale from the north-wefit. Fine day to-day; every prosI pcct of frost to-night.
