SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for cold and damp weather, squally conditions, with heavy showers in most parts of the country. Southerly winds, strong to gale, will probably prevail. The barometer ie unsteady, hut is due to rise everywhere shortly. The barometer has been very unsteady, •and the weather unsettled and stormy .in various parts of the country. Wanganm, May 13.—Tho weather has been very .changeable; freezing at midnight; then blowing half n gale from the north-wefit. Fine day to-day; every prosI pcct of frost to-night.
