AUCKLAND DEMONSTRATION. (By Telegraph—Picsb Association.) . Auckland, May 12. \ large demonstration by supporters of tho Bible-in-schools movement was held in tho Town Hall to-night. The Mayor presided, and aiiong tho speakers, was Miss Butler, headmistress of the-Girls-' Grammar School, who advocated the restoration of tho Bible to the schools on account of its literary value, historic value and value as a character-builder.
