(By Telegraph.—Special Correspondent.) Masterton, May 12. The weather during the last few days has been bitterly cold, and snow -has fallen on the lower hills surrounding tho town. About two and a half inches of vain has been registered since Saturday, making over seven inches for the first twelve days of the month.
