PATIENTS BOLT FROM HOSPITAL, (By Telegraph.—Prow Association.* Whanflareit May 12. Two sick Natives, brought into town on Saturday last, wore considered by a medical man who saw them, la bo iu a condition justifying tlio suspicion tl,at they had smallpox. They were dispatched to tho. liospitai for treatment in tlio isolation ward, but though they presented themselves r.r tho hospital entrance, tliey bolted ulun directed where to go, and it is. supposed they have returned to their homes at Ihuigakahia. Tho health inspector has gone in pursuit, and the health officer at Auckland is cxpcctcd to arrive to-morrow.
