In addition to a large batch of motions standing in Councillor Findlay's name, wliir.ln have already been published, Councillor List will move: "That all permanent borough labourers shall in future bo paid- at the rate of Is. 3d. per hour." Councillor Broekelbank will move: "That a sum be placed on the estimates for the purpose of constructing a foolpath on the Hutt Road from the railway subway south to the Gear-Company's crossin?, and that the road be cr.iwneil up, and if any tarring and sanding is to bo done next summer this portion of the road to be included."
