Moseirs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at their Palmerston North «tlo on Thursday, May 8, they had a fair yarding of both sheep and cattle, which met with pood demand. They ouote: Forward wethers, 16s. 3d.; wethers, 13s. fid. to 13s. Bd.; mixed lambs, 95.; cull lambs, ss. 9(1. to fe. ICd. Cattle: Three and four-year bullocks, £6 ICc'.; two-year steer?, £3 65.; forward cows, £3 7s. 6d. to £4 I*.; store cows. £L 2s. to £2 10s.; fat cows, £5 to £5 65.; weaners, £1 55.; heifers, in calf, £4.
