.. APRIL -GRADING RETURNS. Returns compiled by the Fields and Experiments Division of the Department of Agriculture show that the total number of bales of hemp graded at the ports of the Dominion last month was 18,620, as compared with 9169 for the corresponding month of Inst year,, nn increase of 9151 tales. Tor the twelve months ending April 30, 1913, tho number of bales graded was 129,993, as compared with 88,373 for the previous twelve months; the increase being 11,618 bales. During tho month 6230 bales of tow ■were dealt with, as compared with 2174 for the corresponding month of last year, an increase of 3756 bales. Fbr tho twelve months ending Aprit'3o, 1913, the number of bales graded was 44,689, as compared with 24,317 for tho previous twelve .months, the increase being 20,372 bales.
