Shannon, May 9.—Heavy rain in mominc: wet and ovcrcaet all day; thunderstorm in forenoon. Otakt. May 9—Cold and dull. Carterton, May 9—The weatlier continues unsettled. Kain fell during the major portion of yesterday and to-day. Grcytown, May 9.—A heavy thunderstorm passed over the district this morning, and iij still raining. Jtasterton, May 9.—Keen frost last night: thunderstorm in morning; cloudy afternoon. Hastings, May 9.—To-day has been fine, but cold.
