Greece insists on tho amendment of the draft treaty so as to provide for the settlement of the Albanian question, the disposal of tho Aogian Islands, and tho status of tho monastic community at Mount Athos by tho Powers and the Allies jointly. Sir Edwnrd Grey, British Secretary for Foreign AffairSj Ims sent an appreciative message to King Nicholas, of Montenegro, on his decision to evacuato Scutari, which, ho says, is as much in tho interests of European pcaco as in Montenegro's interests.
