Post Office anil the Marconi Wireless' Telegraphy Company has examined the bank books of Mr. Lloyd-George and Sir Rufus Isaacs (At-torney-General) with reference to share dealing. The result will bo reported to tin: next meeting of the committee.

In February last, Mr. Masse said in his fividcnco that there was need for investigation. There had been an absence of olfort to Tcfute Mr. Lawson's damaging statement. Ministers had given evasive answers in the House of Commons, and had misled members about tho definite arrangement that hod been concluded in the middle of March- Tlje contract had been virtually settled months before, and r gamblers had been exploiting it to the utmost. Hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions 1 , of pounds had changed hand 3, and an immense advantage had been given to the privileged ono3 "in the know." Sir Rufus Isaacs, the AttorneyGeneral, had unwittingly promoted a boom in March last by cabling his congratulations to Mr. Marconi at a banquet in New York. Mr. Maxso added that his inquiries had been independent of Mr. Lawson's. Ministers ought, lie held, to bo examined before the committee. He declined.to name those on whose information he had based articles affecting Ministers. The committee thereupon decided to report Mr. Maxse to the Speaker of the House of Commons.
