In connection with the caso brought against Gray, tho Australian billiard player, .by John Roberts, and Gray's subsequent bankruptcy, Gray was examined under the Fraudulent Debtors' Act in respect to his means of satisfying Roberts'* judgment for X23U against him tot breach of contract. Gray, in his evidence, said he had an agreement with his father whereby he received £3 per week, his father pitying for, his clothes, and (ravelling expenses, and taking what was earned by tho billiard matches. Gray's father deposed that all lli« money his son mado in England and South Africa was about JJtOOO, and thin had been eaten up by expenses:. The sum of XIOOO had gone in payment of legal expenses in England, and Gray had not got a penny now. Jitslicc Ilood declined to make an order in tho case, declaring that even if he did not bolievo tho evidence it would not justify him in making nn order against the defendant,
