NUCLEUS TO BE ESTABLISHED. 'As recently announced in. o cablo message, the Imperial Air Fleet is presenting to the New Zealand Government the aeroplane in which Mr. Gustavo Hamel made a 6Wcessful flight from London to Cologne. -Following upon tho arrival in tho Donilnion. Of this irachinc, there is to be established hero tho nucleus of a New Zealand Aviation Corps, organised by tho Defence Department. In Teply to a question by -a representative of The .Dominion yesterday, tho general officer, bommanding l!lio New Zealand Forces said that definite stew had already been .taken by the Defence Department in regard to the establishment of an aviation corps in New Zealand.' General Godley added that he was unSiblo to afford further information on tho subject at present. It is understood, however, that the gift madiino is a biplane of the Bristol typo. Tho Bristol biplane is a tried machine, and has already done efficient service, not only in long-distance flights, but alsD in activo campaigning juries the Balkan war. /
