At the present stage of training, both with Territorials and cadets, ho thought that a miniature range was mora useful than a full range, and was preferable for instructional purposes. A seven-roomed house in Clydo Street; owned and occupied by Mr. Fred O'Neill, cordial manufacturer, was badly damaged by fire to-night, two rooms being gutted. The damage to tho house and furniture will probably amount to ,£3OO. The insurances are not ascertainable to-night.
