Contracts have been placed in Japanese yards for the construction of three Dreadnoughts of tho Puso type. fTlio Fueo is tho latest type of Japanese Dreadnought and is now in course of construction at Kure. Willi tho secrecy with which all Japanese designs are now as far us possiblo guarded it has as yet been impossible to obtain authentic particulars of her deck plan, armour, engine power, displacement, ami dimensions. All that is really known about her is that she will mount ten guns of the nen - 13.5 in. Runs. A number of other particulars which have appeared about her in various world's prints are suspected as guesswork. Tho only other particular definitely known besides her gunning is that sho will have Miyabara boilers. The Fuso's broadside would aggregate M,ooolb. of metal at one discharge, as against GDDOIb. by a Dreadnought cruiser of tho type of H.M.S. New Zealand.]
