Mr. Fisher saw Mr. Tudor (Federal Customs Minister), and arranged final procedure foT tho drafting of a reciprocity treaty. Subject to it receiving thx> sanction of the two Cabinets interested, it will be embodied in Bills to bo introduced in tho Dominion and Commonwealth Parliaments. Tho Bill will be introduced simultaneously in. the two Parliaments. , In order that tho revenue shall not suffer, tho treaty shall bo treated meanwhile as an ordinary tariff in preparation, and its nature will not be disclosed.
