[Specially Written for The Dominion'.] MONDAY. .Mulligatawny soup. Steak and kidney putltliny. Potatoes. Leeks. Baked Jam roll. 1 STEAK AND KIDNEY PUDDING. Two pounds steak, two sheep's kidneys, one dessertspoon flour, one teaspoon Fall, quarter teaspoon pepper. Crust: Halfpound (lour, quarter-pound su.Dt, olio teaspoon baking powder, pinoh salt, cold water to mix. Jlix the small quantity of Hour, pepper, and «ilt on a plate. Cut llio steak and kidney info small pieces, mix with the seasoned Hour. Mix the Hour, baking powder, and salt together in a basin; shred tho suet, and mix with (lour; make a well, and mix to a stiff dough with cold water. Turn on to a (loured board, work out.Clio cracks, and roll out about quarter-inch thick. Grease a basin and lino with crust. Fill with steak, and half fill with cold water. Cover with crust, tie tightly in a cloth, plunge in boiling water, ami boil four hours. Keep tho pudding covered and boiling.
