A chrysanthemum show—the first of the season 'in Wellington—is to bo held in tho Sydney Street Schoolroom on Wednesday next, commencing at 3 p.m., in aid of tho funds of tho Hadfield hosrel. Tho show will, include a special display of pot plants, orchids, and chrysanthemums by Mr. Charles Izard. Afternoon tea and fiiveet stalls will bo presided over by tho ladies.
