PUBLIC SERVICE EXAMINATIONS.
DATES OF ENTRY. The Public Service Commissioner intimates in llio Gazette that the Publio Service cntranco examination (hitherto known as the Civil Service junior examination) will bo held 011 or about November 18, 1013, and following days, and tho Public Service senior examination 011 01 about January 5, 191-1, and following days. No entrance fees are payable. Entries for tho Public Service entrance examination, must reach the Inspector-General of Schools, Wellington on or. beforo September 8, 1013. Entries for tho Publio Service senior examination must reach the Inspector-General 011 or before October 15, 19ia. No applications received after these dates will bo considered. Tho provision hitherto existing in regard to late entries is abolished. Forms of entry may be obtained from the office of the Public Sorrice Commissioner, tho Education Department, or any Education Board.
