[Specially Written' for The Dominion.] FRIDAY. Cottage soup. Boiled fish. Anchovy sauce. Potatoes. \ egetable marrow. Bread and butter pudding. COTTAGE SOUP. Fire pints meat liquor, 2oz. oatmeal, 2oz. bacon, ljoz. dripping, I onions (small), salt and pepper to taste. Slice tlio onions, put them into a saucepan with the barley and meat liquor; simmer gently for one hour; melt tho dripping in another saucepan, fry the bacon, finely chopped, and stir gradually into it the oatmeal until it forms a paste, adding a little of tho soup if necessary. Pour all into the broth, simmer gently for 40 minutes longer; add more seasoning if necessary just before serving. FOR TO-MORROW. Vegetables. Stock. 2lb. sausages. Apricot jam. Suet. FOi: SUNDAY. One ox-tail. Pair of fowls. Breadcrumbs. Stuffing. Grated chocolate. Apples. " Defiance Butter. All Grocers.* ,
