MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

(Before Sir. W. G. Riddell, S.H.) In the Magistrate's Court_ yesterday Arthur Fobar was charged with having occasioned a breach of the peace in Arthur Street. He pleaded guilty. To a charge of his being an idle and disorderly person he pleaded not guilty. DetectiveSevgeant Cassells deposed that Pobar had not been working lately and had been living on the earnings of an immoral woman. For breaking the peace the accused was fined i' 2, and ou tho other cliargo ho was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Alice L. Allbraud was fined 10s. for insobriety, and Jessie Burns was fined £2 for having broken a prohibition order.
