STAR OF INDIA LEAVES HOME. Messrs. Bannatyne and Co., have been advised that tho Tyiser liner Star of India left London for New Zealand ports on Tuesday, April 22. Sho is due at Melbourne on Juno 2, and at Wellington about Juno 21.

The Government, steamer Ilinemoa leaves Dunedin for Nugget lighthouse this morning. If the weather permits the vessel will make a call at Tho Snares to inspect, depots, before proceeding to the Bhiff and other southern lights. Tho Ilinemoa leaves the Bluff for West Coast Sounds on May 6. The South Taranaki Steamship Company's steamer Arapawa is taking a load of sheep from Gisborno to Lyttelton this week. Tho Tyser liner Indrabarab is to leave Wellington"for Napier at 2 p.m. to-day. The coastal steamer Ripple will bo taken up op tho Wellington Patent Slip next Monday for cleaning and painting.
