Athletio and Cycling Union nnd the Canterbury Cycling and Sports Association has oeen settled. It was announced at a meeting convened by Hio president of tho anion last night that the union's disqualification of Jlessrs. Walter, Mealings, Polson, ami Bevell had been removed, and jhere ivas now no obstacle to prevept the two bodies combining and continuing theOovernment of tho sport under the union's jurisdiction.. . It was decided that each body should (tontrol its 'own fixtures as already announced tilt the first Wednesday in .Tnly when tlicy will work tinder the centre.
