ROYAL MARRIAGE FIASCO.
DISSOLVED BY THE POPE. Br Telegraph—Press/ Association—Copyright Berlin, April 27. The Pope has dissolved the marriage of Prince George of Bavaria and the Archduchess Isabella. The Princess regains her status as a member of the Austrian Royal House. Prince George of Bavaria was born in 1880 and the Princess in 1888. The marriage, which took place on December 30, was annulled by the High Court at Bavaria in January last. This decision was. confirmed by tho Prince Regent. Princess Isabella only stayed three days in Munich. Owing to a slight from members of tho Bavarian Royal Family, she lel't during the honeymoon and joined her mother at Vienna. Attempts at a reconciliation were in vain. Tho decreo stated that there was no reflection cast by either party on tho other, but thay were divorced owing to. incompatibility based on fundamental differences of character.
