TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Specially Written for The Dominion.] TUESDAY. White soup. Veal outlets and bacon. Potatoes. Tomatoes. Plum pudding. Sweet butter sauce. WHITE SOUP. Two pounds , potatoes, 2 onions, half ■head celery, i pint milk, 1 tablespoon Hour, X parsnip, 1 turnip, dessertspoon salt, tablespoon lard or butter, 1 teaspoun sugar,' croutons, mashed vegetables, peel and cut up roughly; make butter hot, add vegetables, stir till they steam; add sugar, salt and water, boil gently one hour. Put through a sieve, return to saucepan with the milk, thicken with flour, mixed with a little cold water; boil threo minutes; season with, pepper and salt, anil servo with fried croutons.
FOR TO-MORROW. Stock. Carrot. Turnip. Onion. Barley. One ox tail. Short Crust. J-lb. prunes. Deflanca Butter. All Grocers.*
