SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, -veering to southerly. . Cool, changeable, and sliowery weather probable generally. TJje barometer is unsteady,' but'will' probably riso everywhere after about sixteen hours. Two low-pressure areas-one in the north and another in the south—have to a corta'in extent neutralised eaich other, but considerable rain haa fallen in the north and on the East Coast of the North Island.
