Fraser, Minister for Publio Works, received a deputation from sawmillers protesting against tho cliango of control of the sawmill areas from 'iho Warden, to the Land Board. A County Council deputation asked for statutory authority to take a tally of tho traffic on roads and bridges in tho apportionment of the cost of construction and maint.enaneo iu cases of dispute between ■ local bodies. Tho Minister promised consideration of tho matters.
