. . SOME GENERAL NOTES, It is proposed by the Committee of the Wellington Football Association to havo a number of fixture cards printed and to ask tho various clubs to. contribute towards tho cost. This will be a great convenience and clubs should readily agree to pay their small share. . Otago and Blenheim aro to be invited by the Wellington Boya' Sub-Committeo to send over representative teams this season. The Now Zealand training ship Amokura is entering a fourth division team this season. The little lads in navy bluo havo "Centre-Half's" best wishes in their contests with tho land-lubbers. In addition to the teams already entered Marist Bros.' school has also put a sixth division team in the field. Swifts havo withdrawn their fifth division team and entered a third division team. Newtown Congregational is a healthy club. This year they have put two teams in tho third division list. Rovers are unable to put two teams in the field this season, and have withdrawn their second division entry. Business is evidently not "booming" in tlm liover Club. ' Tho South Wellington Club started the season ivcll Ijy n win.over i'.JI.C.A. Nt the Basin last Saturday. Tho game was .very oven, its is witnessed by. the score,

Tho South Wellington sixth division team is very strong, this year, and should come very close to tho top when the numbers go up. Tlio fourth and fifth teams aro not so strong ns Inst year. Tho club' will hold a picturo benefit at St. Thomas's Hall on May 15, in order to augment tho exchequer, and calls upon all ''Soccer" players to help the boys by rolling up oil' that night.
