FAIRLY GOOD SUPPLIES. ' Apples' Mid vegetable supplies arriving at tho Blair and Allen Street markets du/ng tho week have been fairly heavy, but values were normal. The fruit supplies for tho week consisted mostly of local-grown apples aiuj. pears, the Sydney shipment comprising a few cases of pine?, which sold well, anil passion fruit. Tho San Francisco steamer landed a shipment of' bananas and oranges yesterday, but no sales had been made up to the timo of writing. The fow mushrooms marketed during tho week realised high prices, as much lis Gd, per lb. being offered. Yesterday's,approxininte values were:— Pineapples, 15s. (id. to 17s. per ease; passion fruit, 7s. fid., Bs. 6d. for bushels, and Gs. for quarters; local-grown quarters of passion fruit brought 4s. Gel.; grapes (large), lOd. to llkl. lb.; others, 7Jd. to 9d. 1b,.; Capo gooseberries, 5d., s}d. lb.; dessert apples, Jonathans ss. 6d. to 7s. Gd. caso, Stunners ss. to ss. Gd., Majetiu 3s.
