SWIMMING.
OLD BOYS' CLUB REUNION. At Godber's rooms, Cuba Street, last evening tho Wellington Collego Old Boys' Swimming Club held its annual smoke concert. The gathering, which was largely attended, was presided over by Mr. M. C. Barnett, vice-president of tho club. Among others present were Messrs. L. M'lveiizio, J. F. Atkins (chairman Wellington Centro), and Dr. Martin. During the evening Uio chliirmaii presented several silver- cups, won by various members of the club, in recent championship events. Ho congratulated the club upon winning the water polo banner for tho past season, and also made complimentary reference to tho excellent position of tho club generally. Mr. J. F. Atkins, in replying 'to (lie toast of tlio "Wellington Centre," made reference to the Wellington College Old Boys' Association challenge cup for swimming. This had been won by Mr. L. Blundcll, who had secu.\'d the highest number of poinls during he season. He also touched on the (| ' 'jlion of tepid baths, which lie consider < wero desirable.
